October Long Weekend
A range of activities are taking place across the site this October Long Weekend.

Kurious Kids
The one question every kid asks (and every adult dreads); ‘Why?’ is what science is all about! Come along and mix magical colour-changing potions, create enough toothpaste for an elephant, learn about walking water, and learn how to make something cold without a fridge! Learn the science and then apply it to the world you know in an outdoor field trip on site.

TROUT FISHING
We are opening the gates for fishing this long weekend at The Foundations. Registrations are a must. You must bring all your own gear, fishing is by lure or fly only, no bait allowed. This will be a strictly catch and release weekend, it is a preview of what is to come when full public fishing access is established in the near future.

Trail Runs
This October we are opening the gates for guided Trail running in partnership with Ant Fitness. There is an easy and a hard course, running around the twin lakes, via the bottle kilns, a run no one has ever done before. There will also be Sunrise and Sunset Photographic walks. Numbers are strictly limited and you must pre-register.

ART ON EXHIBITION
Two emotive artworks will be installed in the Powerhouse this October. Trashed – by Jody Graham. Tree – Clare Delaney
Both works will be available for public viewing from 10am – 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays from 3 October to 25 October. There are also the Silo Murals of Guido Van Helten, and sculptures by artist in Residence, Harrie Fasher, on display throughout the site.
